Grid orders on spot
Grid trading on the spot market differs from futures in that there’s no long or short — deals are made only with the real asset. You can only buy cheaper and sell higher, profiting from market volatility.
How spot grid works
Section titled “How spot grid works”- The grid places buy and sell orders accounting for direction (Buy/Sell), first-order type (market/limit), base volume, order count, step in percent, and a Martingale multiplier for volume adjustment.
- When the price drops, new assets are bought.
- When the price rises, previously bought assets are sold.
- The strategy works without market prediction — it simply extracts profit from price oscillation.
Placing a grid
Section titled “Placing a grid”To place a grid, go to the spot trading terminal on Cryptorg. Then click the «Grid» tab.
In the «Grid» tab you can flexibly adjust the main parameters:
- Direction (Buy or Sell) — whether the grid will buy or sell.
- First order type (market or limit) — how the first order is executed.
- Base order volume — the starting volume that’s also used to compute the volume of all subsequent orders.
- Order count — total number of orders in the grid.
- Order step (in percent) — percent deviation of each next order’s price from the previous one.
- Dynamic price step — a multiplier adjusting the order step for adaptive level changes.
- Martingale — a multiplier that scales the base order volume, increasing the size of each subsequent order.
These parameters let you flexibly tune the grid trading strategy, adapting it to current market conditions.
After setting up the grid, click «Start». The system will automatically place the orders according to the parameters.
